How much do you charge to find me a car?
Absolutely nothing. The Auto Advantage car sourcing service is completely free. A nominal fee is paid to us by the car retailer who ‘wins’ your sale.
Can I test drive the car before I decide to buy it?
Yes. Auto Advantage is happy to arrange test drives for you with the added bonus that you will not have to negotiate with the dealer when you visit. Simply test drive the vehicle, let us know your thoughts and leave the rest to us.
What makes of car do you source?
We can find you any make or model of car, even if it's not currently available in Australia. We are happy to source cars from outside the country and manage their importation for you.

What age of car do you source?
Any age. We have found classic cars for clients through to used and brand new cars.
Can I trade in my old car with you?
Yes. Auto Advantage provides a selling alternative that can help you to get a fair price for your current vehicle. Our experienced consultants will inspect and assess your car then we will put your car to tender process to a range of potential trade and industry buyers.
Will you help me choose which car to choose?
Absolutely. Remember, our advice is totally impartial. We always draw up an exact specification of the car we should buy. We give advice on all aspects, from safety to economy, as well as on things you may not have considered, like residual value. Some people know exactly what they want right down to the trim colour, others don't. We will talk through things like how often you change your car, what it needs to do, how many miles you do, what specification you need, etc. We always factor in things like insurance, cost of running and whatever else is relevant to you.
I'm nervous about using an internet company. How can I trust you?

During the process, you will deal with one person who is always available for you. As for trust, we rely on personal recommendation for repeat business so we ensure that we look after you very well.
How does using you save me money on my next car?
Firstly we search for the best car for your needs then we negotiate the best price, using our extensive buying power. We have such a thorough understanding of the market and pricing that we are guaranteed to get a better price for you than is possible as an individual. Also, we thoroughly check all cars before delivery, so you have no nasty or expensive surprises when you buy the car. Finally, if you consider the time and petrol you save not trawling around forecourts, the money we save on history checks, the cheaper warranties, our knowledge of the vehicles value – there are many ways in which using Auto Advantage will save you money on your next car purchase.
Do we have to meet to do business?
Not if it isn’t convenient for you – we are happy to work by phone and email. Simply give us a call or contact us via the form on our website and we will assign you with a personal Motor Vehicle Consultant who will give you a call and have a chat with you about what you are looking for and how we can help. We can manage everything by phone or email, or can work face to face if you live within the Hunter or Central Coast areas.
How long will it take to find me a car?
Your personal Motor Vehicle Consultant will contact you within 24hrs of receiving your query. After a chat about what you are looking for and your specifics, they will start looking for your next car straight away. Imagine how much faster it would be if you were an expert in the industry and had immediate contact with all the car retailers across the country – that’s how fast we are. You can be assured that we do not linger over the process, we will work to your time scales wherever possible.
Cars are advertised at so many different prices. How do I know how much I should be paying?
Don’t worry, we do! It is a bit of a minefield. That is why using Auto Advantage helps you purchase your next car. If you look at any car magazine or sales website, it is hard to explain why the same car can be sold at so many different prices. We understand what affects the value - mileage, trim level, engine type, etc. By appointing one of our Motor Vehicle Consultants to find your next car for free, you can be sure you are not paying the wrong price.
I need to source new cars for my company – do you manage fleet purchasing?
Yes. Auto Advantage provides small and large business organisations with services that include:
Fleet purchase and management - This service also includes independent advice on how to effectively reduce your operating costs of vehicle fleet (whether for 1 car or 100). This may include areas of car pricing comparison; residual risk management; servicing costs and finance options.

I live outside Newcastle, can you find a car for me?
Yes. Auto Advantage sources cars from all over Australia and has many satisfied customers from all over the country.
What warranty do I get?
The warranty process is the same as buying from a dealer, except our advice is tailored and impartial. If a car is under manufacturer’s warranty, then the warranty applies if you buy it through us just as it would if you bought it at a premium from a main dealer. If it is out of warranty, then we use the same third party warranty companies as other dealers. The difference is that our warranties are cheaper because we don't add a profit margin for ourselves. More importantly, the cover level is correct for you.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Once we have found you the perfect car and negotiated the best deal, our Motor Vehicle Consultant can arrange for your new car to be delivered to your door.
Are there any hidden costs involved with using your service?
No. You pay absolutely nothing to Auto Advantage for finding your next car.
We simply charge a fee to the car retailer / manufacturer who ‘wins’ your sale by offering the best car at the best price.
