Why Auto Advantage?

Since 2001, Auto Advantage has helped tens of thousands of people save time, money and stress during the purchase of new and used cars.

We use our independent buying power to find and negotiate the best prices possible from a nationwide network of dealers and car sellers.

Our enthusiastic team specialises in finding the best deals on new and used cars of all makes and models for private and business use.

We do not charge our customers. We simply receive a nominal fee from the dealer who has “’won” your sale by offering the best price and vehicle.

Trade disposal services are also available.

Our Guarantee

Auto Advantage guarantees our customers will save time, money and stress when buying a car.

Auto Advantage also holds a Full Dealer Licence (MD054502) and is a member of the NSW MTA.  This enables us to access vehicles from a variety of industry contacts, including government tender services. In this instance Auto Advantage will advise the client of a firm price, which will include all associated fees and charges.  This excludes state government stamp duty and transfer fees, which must be paid separately.

Since 2001

Auto Advantage was established in 2001 in the Hunter region of NSW and today provides car-broking and buying services to more than 1000 people every year across Australia.

It disrupted the car industry model and provided another and easier way to purchase a vehicle. This model initially appealed to a range of people, but was most appreciated by those who disliked the negotiating process, or were time poor.

The Auto Advantage car-buying process is now the preferred method of purchase for tens of thousands of people.

National Seniors Australia

Auto Advantage joined forces with National Seniors Australia in December 2017 to provide members with an easier way to buy new and used cars. National Seniors is Australia’s largest consumer lobby group for people aged 50+, with 200,000 members and 120 branches, It advocates on behalf of people aged 50-plus and also provides world-class research,  top-notch publications and a broad range of member discounts, including insurance and travel.

Build for Cure

In 2016, Auto Advantage and Mitsubishi donated a brand-new Mitsubishi Mirage as the major prize in the raffle as part of the ‘Build for a Cure’ initiative for the Children’s Cancer Institute. In 2017, they donated another car. The Build for Cure initiative was created by Children’s Cancer Institute, McDonald Jones Homes and Walker Corporation to mark International Childhood Cancer Awareness month each year.  Auto Advantage has been working with McDonald Jones Homes for a number of years to provide it with fleet purchase and management.

The Wests Group

Auto Advantage has partnered with The Wests Group to save members’ time money and stress when buying their next car. The Wests Group Australia (Wests) is a Newcastle owned and operated not-for-profit membership based organisation that provides entertainment, accommodation and dining, function and fitness facilities across the region. Wests has been an integral part of local communities since opening its doors in 1960, and offer substantial financial and in-kind support for schools, sporting teams and charities that make a real difference in communities.

Members across all locations within the Wests Group who buy a car using Auto Advantage will have their perpetual membership to Wests paid on their behalf. This membership is valued at $110.00. No. Auto Advantage car sourcing is free. We charge a fee to the manufacturer who “wins” your sale.

Simon is one of the region’s most experienced motor vehicle consultants having spent more than 25 years’ in the industry. He has worked as part of the Auto Advantage team since 2005, was appointed General Manager in July 2015, and knows he can source the best deal for you. As well as management roles throughout his career, Simon has also developed customer relations skills and can ensure an enjoyable buying experience. He has accumulated a specialised knowledge of a diverse range of new and used cars including Holden, Ford, Toyota and Nissan. Simon is married to Vanessa and they and their two children love to get away on road trips.
G’day, I’m Brendan and I drive a Toyota.
Brendan has been in the car industry for more than 30 years and with Auto Advantage since 2007. As one of the industry’s most experienced and knowledgeable consultants he knows he can get the best deal on your next vehicle. Brendan lives with his wife and three boys and is a true country boy at heart. He likes to get away to the family farm at every opportunity to ride motor bikes and horses with his boys. Motor vehicle consultant and fleet expert Khal joined Auto Advantage in November 2011 and has more than 20 years’ industry experience and knowledge. He spent most of those years selling Toyotas and Audis.
